Rotterdam wins citizens’ annual report award

Print pagina Vorige pagina

On Wednesday 17 September, the municipality of Rotterdam was declared winner of the SGBO citizens’ annual report award for the second year running. The organiser of the award, SGBO, commends the online version of the annual report which, according to the jury, 'meets people’s searching requirements'. By winning this award, the municipality has won a citizens’ assessment [burgerpeiling], worth € 6000.

Rotterdam was the first municipality to use Facetbase to communicate their citizens’ annual report online and is now being rewarded for this pioneering role. The online version makes it easy for everyone to search for information. The online report not only comprises texts, tables and satisfaction measurements, but also deals with real-life examples and contains video clips on residents in the city. Furthermore, the reader can click on links to the websites of the Rotterdam Citizens’ Panel or residents’ organisations, for example. This greatly improves the accessibility of the information and brings the report to life.
